Welcome to Six North Studio.
I created this site to give my photography a home beyond folders, hard drives, and the passing rhythm of social media - a place where individual photographs can become part of something larger.
Photography has taught me to pay attention. Carrying a camera changes the way I experience a place: light becomes more noticeable, ordinary details become more significant, and fleeting moments ask for a second look. Sometimes I set out with a particular image in mind. More often, the photographs I value most are the ones I could not have planned.
My work is not limited to one subject. I’m drawn to landscapes, travel, people, and the quiet details found along the way. What connects the photographs is less about what appears in the frame and more about the experience of noticing it.
Six North Studio is where I’ll gather that work, explore the connections between images, and share new photographs and projects as they develop. This journal will offer a little more room for the stories behind them... the places, conditions, decisions, and unexpected moments that shaped what I saw.
For now, this is simply a beginning: a place to slow down, look carefully, and share what I find.
